2. Account Registration and Security
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account.
You must notify us immediately of unauthorized access.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:

- Harass or harm other users
- Attempt unauthorized system access
- Use automated scraping tools without permission
- Upload unlawful or infringing content
- Disrupt platform functionality
We may suspend accounts for violations.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of your content but grant AnalytIQ a license to use, store, and process it solely to operate the Service.
You confirm you have rights to upload your content.
5. Intellectual Property
All platform materials are owned by AnalytIQ and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or distribute them outside normal use of the Service.
6. AI-Powered Features
AI features provide educational assistance only.
AnalytIQ does not guarantee accuracy of AI output, and users remain responsible for decisions based on AI suggestions.
7. Instructor and Student Relationships
AnalytIQ provides a platform only and does not control course quality, grading decisions, or academic policies.
These remain under institutional authority.
8. Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy.
Compliance Sections
9. Education Records and FERPA Compliance
AnalytIQ provides its services to educational institutions as a "school official" with a "legitimate educational interest" under the U.S. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
AnalytIQ processes education records solely on behalf of institutions and under their direction.
AnalytIQ does not own student education records. All rights remain with institutions and students.
Student data is used only for educational purposes and never for advertising or unrelated commercial use.
10. Institution Control of Student Data
Educational institutions act as "data controllers." AnalytIQ acts as a "data processor."
Student data is processed only under institutional instructions and for educational service delivery.
Students must direct data access or correction requests to their institution.
11. AI Data Use Restrictions
AnalytIQ does not use student data, coursework, or submissions to train artificial intelligence models.
Student data is processed temporarily to provide real-time functionality and is not retained for training.
12. International Data Transfers
AnalytIQ is based in the United States and hosted on infrastructure located in the United States.
Users outside the U.S. consent to transfer and processing of data in the United States.
13. LMS Integration and Academic Records
AnalytIQ may integrate with institutional learning management systems.
Final academic records and official grades remain under institutional control. AnalytIQ is not the official system of record for grades.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
15. Limitation of Liability
AnalytIQ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability is limited to the greater of:
- Amount paid in the past 12 months
- $100 USD
16. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify AnalytIQ for claims arising from misuse of the Service.
17. Termination
Accounts may be terminated by either party at any time.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States.
